The Kano State government has instructed all 44 local government areas (LGAs) to collectively contribute a total of ₦670 million to the Kano Emirate Council. This funding is intended for the repair and purchase of vehicles for the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi….The directive was issued through a memo from the Ministry of Local Government, dated March 25, 2025, and sent to all local government chairmen.
